Carole's Jewelry Design Return & Exchange Policy
We want you to be absolutely delighted with your jewelry purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return or exchange eligible items in accordance with the following policy.
1. Eligibility & Return Window

Standard Return Window: You may return eligible items for a full refund or exchange within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Condition: All returned merchandise must be in new, unworn, and saleable condition. This means the item must show no signs of wear, sizing, alteration, or damage.

Required Materials: All returns must include the original sales receipt or proof of purchase, as well as all original packaging, boxes, tags, and certificates (e.g., diamond reports, appraisal documents).
2. Refund and Exchange Details

Refunds: Will be issued to the original form of payment only. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed after the item is received and inspected.

Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or style, please contact us to ensure the desired item is in stock. If the exchanged item is of greater value, you will be charged the difference; if it is of lesser value, the difference will be refunded.

Missing Certificates: A fee of $150 will be charged if any associated diamond or gemstone certificates are not returned with the item.

Shipping & Handling: Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
3. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
Due to the personalized nature and risk of alteration, the following items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:

Custom-Designed Jewelry: Any piece designed or created specifically for the customer.

Personalized or Engraved Items: Jewelry that has been engraved, stamped with initials, or personalized in any way.

Items that have been altered, resized, or repaired by a jeweler other than [Your Business Name].

Sale or Clearance Items (unless otherwise noted).
4. How to Initiate a Return

Contact Us: Please email us at [Your Email Address] or call us at [Your Phone Number] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You must have an RMA number for your return to be accepted.

Packaging: Securely package the item in a sturdy box, preferably the original shipping box, along with all original packaging, documents, and a copy of your receipt. Do not write "jewelry," "diamonds," or "gold" anywhere on the outside of the package for security reasons.

Shipping: For your protection, we strongly recommend you ship the return via Registered Mail and insure the package for the full purchase value. You are responsible for all return shipping costs and any loss or damage to the item during transit.
5. Item Inspection
All returned items will be subject to a thorough inspection by our team to confirm the item is unworn and undamaged. If the item shows signs of wear, alteration, or damage, the return may be refused, and the item will be sent back to you at your expense.
